The International Institute for Critical Studies in Improvisation's 3rd Improvisation Festival (IF) 2022, is this August 26-27, 2022! IF is a 24-hour improvisational arts festival starting on August 26 at 7pm (ET)!
Introduction
“Immersive and Performative Soundscape Composition” also known as “Creative Soundscapes Project“
This 3-year research-creation project focuses on creating a series of performative immersive electroacoustic compositions based on soundscape recordings. It will be supported by extensive research into the new technical developments in 3D audio, the development of interactive tools, and the expansion/updating of existing studio facilities for prototyping sound spatialization for public presentation in Guelph and at larger national and international venues.
