Saturday, September 24, 2022, 10 am ET Improvising ‘Hackathon’ and Sound Walk:  Join us and work with the multiPLAY artists in small groups to explore improvisation, digital play, and make something together around a shared theme! Free lunch afterward, followed by a sound walk. Venue – Arts Research Centre (ARC) Lobby in the Mackinnon Building, University of Guelph.  All welcome! Register by emailing: multiplay2019@gmail.com (In Person and Zoom). Bring art supplies, instruments, and ideas. 

Saturday, September 24, 7 pm ET The Remotions featuring Helen Pridmore (vocals), WL Altman (found sound, electronic music, and performance art); Norm Adams (cello and electonics); Gao Yujie (live visuals); Rebecca Caines (sound art), John Campbel (digital art, video, found sound), Stacey Bliss (gong and percussion). Followed by: an open jam with all multiPLAY artists. Venue – Arts Auditorium (Room 113), Arts Research Centre (ARC) in the Mackinnon Building, University of Guelph.  All Welcome!

Improvisation Festival (IF) 2022: James Harley and Gerard Yun’s performance during hour 4 (10 pm- 11 pm ET), August 26

The International Institute for Critical Studies in Improvisation’s 3rd Improvisation Festival (IF) 2022, is this August 26-27, 2022! IF is a 24-hour improvisational arts festival starting on August 26 at 7pm (ET)!James Harley and Gerard Yun [ON, Canada] are part of the festival this year! They will be on in the 4th hour of the festival, which between 10 pm and 11 pm ET August 26!
